PREPARE A CONTRACT
Sales Consultant will write a Purchase & Sale Agreement. Both buyer (you) and the builder sign the contract.

ACCEPTANCE & RATIFIED
Once your contract is accepted and ratified, you'll be scheduled for your Hello to Home Orientation, which happens about 7 business days after ratification.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK
Study the lookbook and Design Gallery section of the website. Get familiar with all the choices! Make your wishlist and save your favorites.

SITE PLAN DRAWN
This is the footprint of the home on your homesite, needed for building permit packets.


HELLO TO HOME
ORIENTATION
At this orientation you'll review and approve your site plan. Once that's done, we'll schedule your upcoming Design Gallery Appointments and provide cool tools to help you with your Design Gallery Experience.


SITE PLAN APPROVED
You'll receive a copy of your site plan for approval at the Hello To Home Orientation. Once approved, the site plan is included with the building permit packet submitted to the city.

APPOINTMENT #2
COLORS & FINISHES
Select the colors and finishes that reflect your personality and style. This 3 hour appointment is all about achieving your taste on budget. Personalize your new home with your exclusive design consultant.

BUILDING PERMIT
PACKET PREPARED
In order to build your home, the respective city requires us to prepare a building permit packet. This packet requires your site plan, extensive drawings and specifications of the home. It also takes a few weeks to prepare with all the necessary information.

APPOINTMENT #3
FUNCTION & COMFORT SELECTIONS
This appointment covers the function and comfort selections from electrical to lighting options. This 3 hour appointment is all about personalizing your new home with the choices that are important to you.


BUILDING PERMIT SUBMITTED
The permit packet is submitted to the city and usually takes a few weeks to approve. There are extensive fees and costs involved in submitting for permit.


FINALIZE
All deposits, appointment paperwork and schematics have been signed and authorized by you (change order addendums (COA’s), schematics and real estate addendums). Finalization is required to pick up building permits and schedule a dig.


BUILDING PERMIT
APPROVED
Once the city grants approval and you have finalized your design appointments, we are able to pick up your permit and schedule your dig.


SCHEDULE DIG
Once you’ve finalized your design appointment and the city has the permit ready to pick up, we schedule the dig on the construction calendar. Keep in mind, there are homes in front of you lined up to dig. Rest assured, you get scheduled in the soonest available slot.

STEP 04
BUILD
Construction starts on your new home
PORTAL ACCESS
Once your dig date is scheduled, an online overview of the construction schedule will be accessible from your Hello-To-Home page.

DIG DATE
This is the official date we break ground and start digging your new home.

CONSTRUCTION ORIENTATION
You’ll meet with the Builder for a Construction Orientation right around the same time as the dig!
STRUCTURAL ORIENTATION
Prior to sheet rock, a Structural Orientation Walk will be scheduled with your builder!

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Your builder has 6 scheduled quality inspection points throughout the schedule.

SITE VISITS
If you visit the homesite, please check in at the sales center, and always wear your hard hats!

STEP 05
LIVE
WELCOME HOMENEW HOME ORIENTATION
You’ll meet with your Warranty Representative and learn about the function of your new home, (happens at least 5 days prior to close.)
CLOSING
At least 5 business days after the New Home Orientation, you’ll sign closing documents at the title company.

MOVE-IN
Pick up your keys and move in!
12 MONTH WARRANTY
After 30 days of moving in, another warranty walk-thru will be scheduled. As issues arise over the next year, make sure to utilize the Warranty Request at mycolemanhome.com. At the 11 month mark, another warranty walk-thru will be conducted.
